Yoga Nidra & Reiki Retreat
Yoga Nidra is a state of deep physical relaxation and expanded mental awareness accessed through guided meditation and visualization. While in the state of Yoga Nidra, deep healing is possible, creativity is enhanced, and the capacity to manifest one’s goals and visions is maximized. I work with clients on the development of one’s sankalpa, which is a long-term intention or resolve. Then I guide clients into Yoga Nidra, where they visualize their sankalpa as a means of bringing that vision into reality. While the sankalpa is unique to each client, with as many sankalpas as there are imaginations, common examples include attaining optimal health, quitting smoking, passing an important exam, finding true love, obtaining the dream job, etc. Medical research has shown that Yoga Nidra benefits individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, diabetes, pain-management, PMS, PTSD, and more. Yoga Nidra is also proving beneficial in the age of COVID as it strengthens one’s overall health, well-being, and centeredness. Reiki is a gentle practice involving energy work and light touch with wide ranging benefits. Clients seek out Reiki for balance, centeredness, relaxation, and self-care. Studies show that people who receive Reiki report improved sleep, reduced pain, and reduced anxiety. Reiki has been recognized by the Mayo Clinic as a beneficial service.
Yoga Nidra & Reiki Retreat Package Components:

I work with the client to establish their dosha and imbalance. Based on their constitution and imbalance, I create customized lifestyle guidelines and practices, including customized yoga sequences, pranayama, and meditation practices; customized recipes and menus, recommended appropriate healing gemstones and aromatherapy. Follow-up and continuing consultations available for $80 per session.
This retreat is designed for those who are curious about Sivananda Yoga and/or those who have experienced Sivananda Yoga and are wanting to re-immerse themselves in the practices. This retreat begins and ends each day with Sivananda traditions of Satsang, Kirtan, Meditation, and Yoga. Midday includes a philosophy and practice component based on the client’s choice, for example of the following: the yamas and niyamas, pranayama, meditation, kirtan, Bhagavad Gita, or Sivananda’s writings.
Immerse yourself in a set of clarifying and relaxing meditation practices. No previous meditation experience necessary. This retreat is customized to each client’s level of meditation experience. You will learn and engage in various meditation practices ranging from guided to silent mediations, including but not limited to Yoga Nidra, Vipassana, mantra meditation, 61 pt meditation, loving kindness (metta) meditation, tratak, and Chakra meditation
Feeling depleted or stressed? This restorative retreat will recharge your battery and help you emerge centered and refreshed with multiple sessions of reiki, restorative yoga, and gentle yoga and other yogic practices customized to each client’s needs.
Writing and Yoga Retreat
Are you in the middle of a project and in need of focus, reinvigoration, inspiration and/or feedback? This retreat combines customized yoga sessions, writing time, workshopping, and one to one consultation and feedback to help you progress from whatever stage your project is in.
Wanting to tell your story to inspire others, build your business, and/or make connections? I will help you craft the polished written or spoken story/presentation you are wanting to tell, across your desired audience(s) and platform(s). The consultations, writing, feedback, and workshopping sessions will be interspersed with reiki, yoga, yoga nidra and other yogic tools appropriate for your needs and goals.

In my role as a holistic educator and practitioner, I provide clients and students the tools to access that feeling of safety and contentment even in times of stress and chaos. I have spent the last two decades developing my intuitive awareness and empathic skills, formally studying the way we embody our stories energetically and physically. By incorporating Yoga and Ayurveda practices and principles into our daily life, we consciously transform our existence.
